Russia's Daniil Medvedev ended World No. 1 Novak Djokovic's dream of becoming the first man in 52 years to complete a career Grand Slam with a sensational 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 win against the Serb in the US Open's men's singles final at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Sunday.

With his maiden Grand Slam title, Medvedev has also become the first Russian male player to win a Grand Slam since Marat Safin - who clinched the Australian Open in 2005.
