WHAT?

A Dubai-bound SpiceJet aircraft from Delhi made an emergency landing at Pakistan’s Karachi airport after developing a technical snag today. Its indicator light malfunctioned. More than 150 passengers were present onboard the flight & all are safe.

HOW?

No emergency was declared and the aircraft made a normal landing. There was no earlier report of any malfunction with the aircraft. Passengers have been served refreshments. A replacement aircraft is being sent to Karachi that will take the passengers to Dubai: SpiceJet Spokesperson

Another SpiceJet aircraft operating from Delhi to Jabalpur was forced to return to the Delhi airport on Saturday morning after the crew noticed smoke in the cabin. The aircraft was flying at an altitude of 5,000 feet when the crew witnessed the smoke, according to ANI report.
