Parapowerlifter Sudhir on Thursday added to India's gold medal tally at the CWG 2022. He set a new Games record with a lift of 212kg (134.5 points). Sudhir became the first Indian para-athlete to win a medal at CWG 2022. 

Meanwhile, Murali Sreeshankar scripted history for India. The youngster from Kerala became the first male long jumper to win a Silver medal at the CWG. PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth, & Lakshya Sen have also progressed to the next round in badminton.
