BCCI on Tuesday named Tata as the title sponsor for the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL).TATA is already the title sponsor of the IPL.
WHEN?
As far as the inaugural edition of the WPL is concerned, it is scheduled to get underway on Saturday, March 4. The opening game will be played between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai.
20 matches in the league stage will be played, followed by the Eliminator on March 24. The final is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 26 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

If reports are to be believed, TATA Sons will have the title rights for the five years of the tournament. Earlier, Tata had become title sponsors of the IPL after VIVO backed out.
