ICMR authorized a unique RT-qPCR test kit that can identify influenza (H1N1, H3N2, Yamagata, and Victoria sub-lineages), COVID-19, and respiratory syncytial virus. This comes at a time when these viruses are on the rise in numerous sections of the country

The kit separates the viruses within the shortest TAT (turnaround time), with a cycle time of 27 minutes and a reading time of 50-60 mins. According to the firm, this can allow for an instant line of therapy. The kit is also compatible with all RT-PCR equipment.
